This is my FAVORITE Machine!!!! If you need a heavy industrial machine- This Is It. It goes through multiple layers and leather with ease. Not even a stumble. It is my bag making hero. I also use it exclusively for quilt piecing because it's FAST and the stitches are perfect every time. The wider throat makes life easier too. We call her Effie and she's a beauty!

Another of my personal favorites because of the ease of use, the beautiful stitches and the lightweight travel size. I take one of these machines with me whenever I go on retreat. They never let me down. The 530 is the basic machine and the others add features as the numbers go up. For an upgraded machine with a larger throat space and some foxy features, you will love this group of machines. They are affordably priced but give you some luxuries you may have been living without. This baby purrs and makes sewing a dream. This was my go to before I bought my Effie. I still use it whenever I need a free arm machine for garments, or when my Effie is being given a beauty treatment.
